Monday is an exciting day for Midsize Enterprise Services (MES) -- our loyal audience of midmarket Information Technology leaders -- and the midmarket-focused vendors and solution providers that serve our audience, as we are expanding the services we offer.
MES Computing is the online partnership between MES and our 50-year-old sister brand Computing, the leading end-user, high-tech media brand in the UK.
MES' Expansion
I've been with MES since 2020 and since then we have grown our products, services and ecosystem to better serve the entire midmarket. Having a laser focus on the midmarket is what sets us apart from any other brand. We understand the unique challenges and opportunities that midmarket IT leaders experience on a day-to-day basis.
In 2020 we were simply two virtual events thanks to the pandemic: MES Spring and MES Fall. In 2021 we launched the MES IT Leadership Network to provide a gated online community for midmarket IT Leaders and vendors to network and communicate with each other in a trusted and safe forum. Today we have over 800-plus IT leaders, a community that is strong and growing (to apply to become a member of the MES IT Leadership Network, go to MESITNetwork.com).
In 2022 we reestablished our partnership with market-leading analyst firm, Gartner, to be our exclusive MES main stage research partner and collaboratively field our State of the Midmarket research. We also relaunched our MES IT Security event to better serve the complex and growing needs around cybersecurity within midmarket organizations.
In 2023 we launched our bimonthly newsletter MES IT Essentials to provide more information and content to our distribution of 25,000-plus midmarket IT professionals. IT Essentials is curated content from our sister brands Computing, CRN, and outside sources relevant to your organizations. At the request of you, our valued audience, coupled with the early success of IT Essentials, we've now launched MES Computing.
With MES Computing, we have the premier live and digital platforms serving midmarket IT. I could not be happier to be a part of this launch and to have a new editorial partner joining me, Samara Lynn, Senior Editor, MES Computing. We are thrilled to provide you another way to stay on top of and connect with the latest news, analysis, and research in midmarket IT.
