- What happens under memory pressure or heavy browser usage?
2. Treat user experience as a measurable outcome
Not just uptime or latency—but:
- Responsiveness under load
- Stability across tools
- Impact on device performance
3. Add “stack compatibility” to procurement criteria
Every new tool adds:
- API activity
- Background processing
- UI complexity
Individually manageable. Collectively expensive.
4. Plan for resource contention, not just capacity
More powerful laptops don’t eliminate the problem.
They delay it.
